Birth and Death certificate will be used as single use document from 1st October 2023.

The Birth and Death certificate registration ( Amendment ) act will be apply from October 1st 2023 . Under this act , birth certificate can be used as single use documents like Aadhar card . It can also be asked for birth certificate in school admission , Government job verification . And asked for making driving license , Aadhar card and pan card.

Apply for birth certificate online, you have to follow the following steps. first of all you have to search the official website service plus (https://serviceonline.gov.in/ ) on google.

Now by clicking on register on the home page , you will have to register by full name, email id, mobile number , password, and captcha. Home page for registration Then you will have to validate by entering the OTP sent on your registered mobile number and email id .

After this you will have to login by entering user id ( email id ) and password.

Then click on Apply for Services and go to view all services. Now you have to type birth in the Search bar and click on the birth registration option of your state. Apply for services.
